Saand Ki Ankh Ready To Hit Bull’s Eye On The Box office
Receiving recognition much before its release, Saand Ki Ankh is a one-of-a-kind tale that has created a huge rage across the internet with its first look and teaser. The movie tackles the themes of breaking age and gender stereotypes. It is being headlined by two powerhouse performers of Indian cinema, Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar. Screenwriter Tushar Hiranandani is making his debut as the director through the movie.
Saand Ki Ankh is the story of two women, Chandro Tomar and Prakashi Tomar, who pick up the sport of sharpshooting at the age of 60 when a national level player and coach opens the Johri Rifle Club in the remote village of Johri, Uttar Pradesh. Both women, better known as revolver dadis, go on to win 352 medals each, and national and international championships in the sport while inspiring the girls of their village to pursue the sport as well.
